Our Story

In the 1960s...

In the 1960s, grandfather Attilio Brugnerotto and grandmother Ada De Bortoli seized the opportunity to buy a small plot of land in the Santa Margherita district with the dream of building a small inn there to welcome the tourists who were arriving in increasing numbers in Caorle in those years.
Grandfather Attilio slowly built what was to be inaugurated in 1968 as Locanda Lorisana: a special name invented by Ada that encompasses the names of her children Loredana, Rosanna and Loris.
In 1977 after the untimely death of his father Attilio, it was his son Loris who took over the running of the hotel. In 1985 he married Franca and in 1990 they purchased the adjacent inn. After several renovation phases, the Hotel Crystal was born.
